Lavinia Fontana Cashmere Throw

Tipperary weavers John Hanly & Co. have collaborated with the National Gallery of Ireland for Lavinia Fontana: Trailblazer Rule Breaker on a set of unique scarves and throws to be exclusively sold in the gift shop. Taking the Visit of the Queen of Sheba to the King Solomon by Fontana as their inspiration, Hanly and the shop staff worked together in designing beautiful one off pieces by using the stand out colours and motifs of the iconic painting. The throw, an incredibly soft mix of cashmere and merino has warm pink and maroon tones that feel as strong as the artist herself while maintaining a cosy bedroom style.
