The 2026 Autumn/Winter edition of the National Gallery of Ireland's very own magazine, The Gallery. This issue documents the coming exhibitions at the Gallery, as well as updates on new acquisitions, and an in-depth look into the conservation work of the Jack. B Yeats Research Project. Hilma af Klint: Artist and Visionary is the Gallery's winter exhibition for 2026 and inside you will find an article from art critic Cristín Leach as well as a piece by poet and author Doireann Ní Ghríofa and her connection to a particular line in Klint's diary. The new acquisitions highlighted are of particular interest to Irish art with John Lavery and William Orpen among them and one of the Gallery's Painting Conservators, Muirne Lydon, details the delicate work of examining the materials that Jack B. Yeats used throughout his career.
The Gallery offers new insights into the National Gallery of Ireland, from closer looks at the work in the collection to behind the scenes articles from staff.
